SMACI always ensure quality and consistency of technical delivery and support from CSOs CBOs women’s networks as well as existing structure at sub-national level government counterparts. This initiative provide room for working together with CSOs CBOs line ministries Agencies and women network groups to promote gender balance. It also create synergy and leakages between women groups women coordinators at LGA level, line ministries and agencies to directly provide technical assistance become involved in local investment
SMACI provided structural process through the engagement of traditional and religious leader forming a constructive evidence based initiative by enrolling women groups to be sensitized, mentored and strengthening their skill to be able to identify and present their issues where the women will give their perceptions and satisfaction about the social economics and educational situation in their community and prioritized the issues to prepare a case for advocacy at the LGA and State multi stakeholders meeting
SMACI use Monitoring and Evaluation as the backbone of its project because it deals with the data collection analysis interpretation and evaluation it also document all the track record and Provides a platform for management and stakeholders to measure performance and determine whether implementations performance is meeting the project expectations. The baseline data, program data and monitoring process will be collected using a designed data tool.
SMACI advocate for Greater level of transparency, accountability and responsiveness of authorities on the issues of women and improved level of representation of people who are marginalized by Influencing Local Government, State and National Plans and Policies, through Advocacy on Effective Governance & Participation, in this initiative we have a strong collaboration of CBOs CSOs women’s networks working together to influenced the government structures through Effective advocacy, Monitoring budget, multi stakeholders meetings, using media, press releases, pact sheet , lobbying and meetings
SMACI Strategy lies in provision service and support for Sexual violence survivors in the state and work with Sub-sector to ensure services are accessible, prompt, confidential and appropriate to survivor needs, wishes and decisions, and available in locations where there is need. Caring for survivors to SMACI and its partners means comprehensively and systematically addressing through • Rights-based approach (Safety, Confidentiality, Respect, Non-discrimination) • Community-based approach • Participation, Accountability, Non-discrimination.
