SMACI provides relevant knowledge and baseline information to policy makers, public officials, media, CSOs and communities on delivery of public services and socio-economic situation of targeted communities through participatory research projects.
We always support our claim with the processes of situational analysis/ needs assessment, instructional and curriculum design, planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
2. Training and Capacity Development
SMACI endeavors to empower communities and other stakeholders in local governance through contextualized trainings and capacity building activities. It provides technical knowledge on various public programs and social issues to target groups as well as skills in various researches, engaging government, social audit, etc.
3. Participatory Community Development Action
SMACI works closely with its target communities and provides handholding support in collective actions taken by community members.
SMACI facilitates communities to come together and identify common agenda by which the community responds to issues, helping community institutions and leaders develop a variety of locally available resources that will be helpful to women in general, but particularly those with poor support – in particular for child care, conflict resolution and savings schemes.
4. Peoples Empowerment
SMACI enhance the well-being of 2500 Families and improve their live. By build their confidence to have self-esteem, self-confidences. And Engaged in economics and Education empowerment to be able to identify prioritize and present their issues to the appropriate authority.
SMACI empowers its target communities by conducting awareness raising activities and community organizing. Community-level consultations and use of IEC materials on rights and entitlements are substantial components of all SMACI projects. By building a strong correlations and component with a combination of resources, support, empowerment, and education, for the Women to be able to provide better care to their children in terms of education nutrition, health and other related services
5. Promotion of Informed and Engaged Citizenry
SMACI Improved decision making of married and unmarried adolescent girls to make inform decisions about their own SRH right Increased knowledge of parents, community members and community leaders (e.g. religious and traditional) on social and gender norms supporting SRHR of married and unmarried. SMACI develops community monitoring tools used by citizen monitors to make community profiles and gather information from stakeholders regarding public service delivery.
6. Policy Advocacy
SMACI builds relationships and alliances among government officials and CSOs as it campaigns for policy reforms through policy dialogue platforms. SMACI often organizes public hearings and interface with communities and public officials on issues related to governance, transparency and accountability.
